We just got back from our vacation to Michigan.  We were there for 8 days.  It was an enjoyable trip. All of us went.  That is Donovan, Silvia, Elexis, Donovan Jr. Gabriel, Bunny and me.  Wasn't supposed to be a family reunion, although everyone but John and Fran were there.  Got to go fishing and I didn't get skunked this year.  Caught 4 fish, one good one but through them all back.  Bunny caught a good fish too and so did Elexis.  Upon returning from our fishing trip, I was driving a quad (4 wheel off road vehicle) and I got into an accident.  The quad felt like it was going to tip so I did the wrong thing.  I put my foot down to get my balance.  Well the rear wheel of the quad ran over my foot and I tipped over.  My foot got one hell of a knot.  Thought I broke it.  After a day or so, the knot went away.  I'm still black and blue on my hands and feet and road rash but there's no pain.  Back to work tomorrow if I still have a job.  When I left, they had put us all on 32 hours a week because business is so slow.  They are planning to build an arena in back of the IP.  Last I heard Osheas is ready to close.  It probably wont be long after that that the IP will be closing.

The keno department at the Imperial Palace now has a new keno system.  We no longer have Nevada Number or the Million Dollar game.    Instead, we have two games, the RED game (which uses the balls and is in the lounge) and the BLUE game.  The BLUE game can be viewed in the Teahouse and Buffet but the RED game can only be viewed in the lounge area.  You can play either game in the teahouse, buffet or lounge.  We no longer call the game.  The computer calls the game.

All customer accounts with keno have been converted to the Harrah's Cash Rewards card.  Keno no longer has customer accounts and no longer gives out comps.  Old customers have one year to visit keno and have their points transferred to Total Reward Card.  We are planning a trip to Michigan in July.  Looking forward to it.
