LOUIS RUBIN Louis R. Rubin, 71, of Las Vegas, died Nov. 13, 2007. He retired from the Clark County Coroner's Office. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; daughters, Diane Daras and Stephanie, both of Las Vegas, and Anita Betchner and Randi Taxin, both of Pennsylvania. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

RUBIN, LOUIS

LOUIS RUBIN Louis R. Rubin, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 13, 2007. He was born Feb. 23, 1936, in Philadelphia, and had resided in Las Vegas for 31 years. Louis worked as a security officer at the Flamingo Las Vegas for 19 years, and retired from the Clark County Coroner's Office after 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; daughters, Diane Daras and Stephanie Rubin, both of Las Vegas, and Anita Betchner and Randi Taxin, both of Pennsylvania; along with his five grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

 

It's hard to define "A Friend."  To me, a friend is always there when you need them.  In Las Vegas, a 24 hour town, making a true friend is hard. Rubin is, and always will be, Bunny and my friend.  You will surely be missed Rubin.  We're just thankful your at peace and with no more pain.
